soy wiring chewed by rodents soy wiring chewed by rodents soy wiring chewed by rodents

I have had 3 other cars parked in my garage in the same house for 15 years, and never had rodent problems. I am a very detailed and clean home owner, so the sudden rodent attraction to my new 2020 Acura RDX has to be the root cause for this damage. That the wiring casing is made of soy is what I read, and must be the source of some kind of rodent yummy meal for them. The problem was identified in Dec 2019. I had just gotten my car in October 2019 (needless to say it only had 2,000 miles on it).

One day when I was driving on the Tollway, all my dash warning sensors went off and scared me to death. The warnings were BRAKE SYSTEM FAILURE, VEHICLE STABILITY ASSISTANCE SYSTEM PROBLEM, HILL START ASSIST PROBLEM, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM ERROR, COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING PROBLEM, & EMISSION SYSTEM PROBLEM AVOID HIGH SPEED. As you can see, I was in a panic that myself and my passengers were in danger.
