When the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for maintenance, it was discovered that there was excessive rust and fractures on the front passenger side subframe. The contact stated that the air conditioning drain hose dripped onto the subframe and caused it to rust. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 141,000.
