I have had two occasion now where the brake light switch has failed in my 1999 Acura TL. This happens while driving leaving the car with no brake lights. To go along with this the right tail light goes out at least twice a year every year since I've owned the car which I believe is related. This is unsafe and very costly today's brake light switch repair is $231.01.
