After having this new car for a month, the brakes failed to work while on the way to work. Had to veer off the road and onto an embankment to avoid other vehicles. The car took substantial damage because it ran over a very large branch on the side of the road. The day after the accident, the dealership reported that the 'front right' and 'rear left' brakes were not working properly. Four days after the accident, they reported that the problem was with the 'master brake cylinder'. The cost for this incident has not been finalized. We expect the dealership to cover all costs. Depending on the damage report, we may ask for a refund or a replacement vehicle. If we encounter resistance, then a lawyer may become involved. If damage isn't that bad, then we still want to get the car inspected through a third-party.
