The contact owns a 2007 Acura TL. The contact stated that the battery power was drained after driving the vehicle for less than 48-hours. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who determined that the Bluetooth in the vehicle was draining the battery. Bluetooth was disabled, but the failure recurred. The contact had since replaced the battery twice within two months, each time with the same brand of battery. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000.

The dealer replaced the battery. There were no prior warnings of the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000 and the current mileage was 25,000.
