I regret not seeing this site earlier. Will add my voice to other long time Acura owners who have been shocked with having to deal with outrageous oil consumption issues with the 3.7 engine and what that says about the decline of what had been known as an “engine companyâ€. More disturbing has been the lack of corporate and dealership acknowledgement of the problem. The Acura corporate motto is now “ if you deny the problem, it will go awayâ€. The dealer’s motto (Acura of Avon) is “once we have your money, calls will go unanswered. Acura is now Saab in training and should be avoided at all costs.
