The search mechanism in my GPS stinks!! I live in Canada, and if I search for a location, my GPS constantly assumes the closest location is in the US. I have the territory set correctly and literally can be across the road from a searched location, and the GPS cannot locate, but will kindly direct me to a neighboring country.
In the USA, I have had my GPS advise "nearest location" (such as stores when shopping with family) is 1000 miles away? Huh?
My dealer/salesperson claims it is due to popularity of location? In one instance, I was in Buffalo and my GPS was directing me to West Virginia-so I doubt that is it. Again, in my previous Acura I had no so issue's (I had a 2012 TL tech which I wish I could get back at this point)
Of note-Acura link seems to work pretty well and the GPS is fine when you type in an actual address, but the search component is useless. Truly-if this is the case then the tech package is not worthwhile.
