The Acura dealer tells me the smog check was rejected because of an internal computer test. As a result I cannot register the car, need to go to DMV ask for extension. The worst part is I already took the test twice as I was told I need to drive the car an unspecified number of miles (yes, the dealership has no idea how many miles) and retake the test.
Also told this is a common issue to all cars and it is normal, nothing that can be done.
Really, we are in the AI era and there is no solution? I smell something is bad here, maybe the Acura/Honda is nothing else than a VW in disguise and they reset the board computer periodically to hide a real problem.

Awful ACURA (in Henderson) service as well.
