TLX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

My car started jerking when I had 7,000 miles. I called the dealership and even told them when I went in for oil changes and they would just dismiss me saying it was normal. The car had to start jerking like I was riding a bull for them to even listen. The kept my car over 2 weeks and said it was the transmission. The replaced it under warranty but the car was brand new and just to think if this happened after the warranty had ended.

TLX Tech 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,660 miles

I purchased a brand new 2016 Acura TLX 2.4 a month ago. Last week transmission started to make some problems and I took the car back to the dealership. They have tuned it a bit, but now the transmission is completely BROKE.

They already ordered a new transmission.

It's disappointing to buy a premium brand NEW car and have the transmission replaced after just 1 month.
