TLX Fwd, Tech

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,005 miles

EXACT same thing that happened at 4000 miles happened today at 8005 miles. All the warnings came on the dash, transmission, all wheel steering, forward collision, vehicle stability etc. Turned the car on and off several times and finally they were gone. Drove about 15 minutes, put it in park to let the dog do her business and when put in drive all the lights came on again. Drove home 2 miles and when pulling into up sloping driveway it didn't want to go. One of the "voice" warnings on acuralink was for transmission and said not to drive it. Taking it in day after tomorrow.

Seems to be exactly what happened in Feb (reported here) which cost about $3000 for actuators on the rear wheels but was covered under warranty. Seems to be defective parts were replaced with defective parts, or the dealer fixed the wrong thing....Strange that first problem was a 4000 miles and now again, almost exactly 4000 miles later.
