My problem stems from a major and expensive to repair engine defect. They have already lost a class action suit to the tune of 1.6 million cars. It’s a wide spread problem and it’s not limited to the cars already recalled. Last summer Acura sent me a letter extending my engine warranty. I waited to see how things would shake out and a cursory perusal of the Internet suggests, not good. They will fix your car if your burning a lot of oil. Do you consider one quart per thousand miles a lot, because it would appear that you have to be burning at least that much before they will fix it.
