  • 58,000 miles
Fuel sending unit malfunction on 2000 Audi A4. Affects sedan and avant models. Results in fuel gauge reading approximately 1/4 tank lower than actual fuel level. Note: A6 model has been recalled for this issue, and over 50 A4 owners have informed me (via web) that they experience this problem, but Audi has not issued a recall for the A4, despite admitting that it uses the same sending unit components.
