The Audi A4 was a superb looking car that drives really well. Unfortunately Audi have not accepted responsibility for the common TCU or Transmission Control Unit fault that has been widely experienced from the forums I've read. Audi quoted me $5000.00 dollars to repair it here in Australia, so they are making money off their faulty vehicles....Brilliant.... I found a company in the UK who reconditioned it for about $1100 and then my local mechanic did the rest taking the bill up to $1800.00
