This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Audi dealer.
My car is consuming a quart of motor oil every week. Local Audi dealer/shop said they can't do nothing because they had a recall on this issue, but the former owner did not take the car get fixed and I inherited the problem. Audi Puerto Rico now lures me to buy a new model. It's awful, I feel I'm stuck with the car.

Totally disappointed in this brand. We will never buy an Audi again. The first a TT consumed too much oil, we replaced it with an A4 and it was worse, acceleration problems and every 300 miles it was necessary to add a liter of oil. I do not recommend that you throw your money to the trash. In my case I ended up losing a lot of money to be able to sell them. Now I have a Chevrolet Sonic and it does not give anything to do.

AUDI A4 Quattro oil consummation is horrible.Problem wasn't so bad when I purchased the vehicle last year in May, but June-July month the problem start to worst then in beginning. Normally it was required adding 1Qt every 500-700 miles but for the last 3000 miles I add almost 2 gallons in oil. Volkswagen service couldn't figure out what is the problem and they send me to make an oil check with Audi, which i need to schedule. if anyone have any suggestion before i start make useless appointments, please let me know.

This 2010 Audi A4 has been the worst purchase I have ever made. I purchased the car 66K miles on it, also purchased an 3rd party extended warranty to 150K miles or 5 years. The first major issue was that the car had a misfire on start-up. The misfire was coming on cylinder one.
After much fighting with the Audi dealer and the warranty folks about 2 mos of fighting, the engine was replaced. I was told that the replacement engine had about 60K miles on it. After approx. 10K miles of driving on the replacement engine I started to notice the rough idle on start up again. However this time it does not generate a code. In November of 2017 the engine started burning oil. Its now burning about 2 quarts every 1000 miles.
The weird thing is that the car basically runs well even with the issues it has. I have not tried to go back to the warranty folks as I was told after the engine replacement I was very close to my spending limit. I feel trapped with this car and feel AUDI is directly responsible and should be forced to repair.

The car has been burning oil since day one - bought brand new - and Audi has always said it was within limits - then after several years of dropping in a about a quart a month, I got to the 65k mile mark and I am adding about a case and a half of oil every 3k miles. I have sent letters to Audi corporate and gotten no response. The local dealer won't even call me back. I will never buy another Audi just because the company won't take responsibility for their design flaw.

Ridiculous. the engine was already replaced once. Audi obviously knew about this problem. What was the most frustrating was that their Customer Relations Dept tried to low ball me to trade the car in on a newer model. Why would I buy another Audi?

Had to go through numerous complaining. Finally an excessive oil consumption test to prove the defect.
Basically got a new engine. After the 2 year warranty period a similar problem occurred which cost me $7000!!!

Having to add ~ 1 Quart of oil every 500 to 600 miles. When initially bought the car was 1 quart every ~ 5,000 miles. then last year every 1,500. In last 4 months every ~ 500. Dealership is quoting $7,500 to fix the problem.
I found info on the Class Action suit settlement. When called back and mentioned that They said I would not be covered because during 2 earlier service intervals I drove 12,000 and 13,000 miles between services. Back in 3 years ago.

I took my car, Audi A4 2.0 4 door sedan QTR in for service at Schneider Nelson Audi in Long Branch NJ on 8/7/2012. At the time it was burning 2 quarts of oil between services. I let them know about the problem and they said they replaced front crank seal and crank bolt, also replaced crankcase valve. At that service date the car had 25835 miles on it. It now has 54800 miles and the oil burning problem has become worse and worse and now needs 1 quart of oil every 700 miles. This is absurd! I like everything else about the car but I'm worried about this ridiculous amount of oil it's burning. It used to only need oil every few K miles, now it needs every 700 miles! The replacement of these parts did absolutely nothing. Can anyone tell me how to get Audi to fix this?

My Audi A4 consumes around 1 quart per 500 miles. I have to add the oil every 500 miles which is a pain. There is also a change in the drive because of this.

I bought a 2010 Audi A4 and it drank more oil than a 1990 Hyundai. I have had consumption tests, numerous repairs and now I'm taking it to the dealer to have it fixed as part of the class action settlement. I regret the day I bought this car. DO NOT BUY AN AUDI!!!!

I am looking for others who want to have the same class action suit against Audi for excessive oil consumption in CANADA.
I want my car fixed.
I go though 14L of oil a year and I only do mild city driving.
I will never buy another Audi again

I bought the car in June and I've had to put a quart of oil in every 2 weeks. I have to carry extra oil with me. To make matters worse, I am in a wheelchair and it makes it that much worse. The dealership knew there was a problem with it and lied to me. They would not help me fix it or even point me in the right direction. They wouldn't give my money back or anything, so now I am stuck with this stupid piece of s***. It's pretty embarrassing when I have to pull over just to put oil in so my engine doesn't blow. Nobody will help, so now I am doing this. Audi - if you are listening, you suck!!!
