Audi diagnosed problem of the timing belt failing on our 2013 Audi A4. The estimate to fix is $3500. Subsequently, we learned from the internet not from Audi Service, that there was a class action suit settlement in 2018 for this car defect whereby Audi extended new car warranty for 10 years or 100k miles whichever came first and fully covered the replacement cost. We were never informed of class action suit by Audi. We have received notification of other class action suits but not this.
However, we are post 10 years since date of service and so we are past the warranty extension. Wondering if we have any recourse?
