Consumer contacted dealer regarding recall number 00V137000. Dealer has indicated that parts were not available to take care of the faulty gas gauge which indicated inaccurate fuel reading. This caused vehicle to run out of fuel without warning. Problem has occurred prior to receiving the recall notice.
