Bought high end A6 Premium Plus 2L 2018 from high end dealer with 18000 miles on it. Immediately brakes pulled, vibrated, thudded, etc. Inspection showed rotors were "cut through" and warped beyond any repair. This is not possible unless the brake system is deficient or the car was raced very hard, even professionally.
Only prior owner was a well known L.A. doctor and then me at 70 years old. Lots of online complaints of Audi brake rotors wearing out as early as 10k miles. Pursuing repair by Audi or Mercedes dealer who sold me the car in Scottsdale, Az. Found no recalls or TSB for my car but again, tons of these complaints going back years have gone unheeded. Do not buy A6.
