You would expect this problem with any other car manufacturers, but NOT German engineers. I get it, it's part of the car steering mechanics to have the whole steering rack, control unit and pump etc under one unit. That unit faced wet conditions in Dubai, yes Dubai where it hardly rains and yet malfunctions. A nice yellow light appeared following up with a solid red light, "steering defective". Okay, car is not under warranty no problem, I want to replace the part, went to two only dealers in the country Ali and Sons and AlNabooda, both has the part in stock, average wait time is 20-25 days + labor. Who has time nowadays really? Found a slightly used part, works perfect, like brand new, now, can't get rid of that annoying steering defective, can't clear the code with VAG nor Bosch OBD devices. Bring it to dealer, as always, we cannot re-code that issue. Like really man?

Beef up your game Audi and do something.
