A8 V8 transmission failed at 13 months, with only 3500 miles.

The problem started with rough gear switch, especially at low gear from full stop. It then developed into more serious problem of jolt, recoil, jump or loud noise. I took it to dealer with my complaint with no solution because my A8 did not give warning or error code. They didn't even test drive my car to feel how it felt.

It is so obvious the gear change is rough from full stop!!

Finally, I received this warning message at my three days out of town trip, thank God it didn't fail on me of put me into danger at NY busy traffic. The most horrible experience EVER in my 40+ years of driving.

Audi has to replace the part VW0D5-300-040-M-002 which costs $13k parts only. Still waiting for my fix, God bless me!!

What else is coming??? I had to visit my dealer almost every month to solve different problems. It appears the problem is getting worse. This is the fourth problems in 13 months ownership.
