Q3 Premium 2.0L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 44,000 miles

Air conditioner compressor froze, causing belt to break, causing alternator to stop charging. This resulted in having to stop along the highway and await a tow to the nearest auto repair garage. Compressor and belt replacement took 2 days, resulting in additional overnight lodging and travel associated expenses...

This is the second major failure on this Audi… the first being a water pump failure at 36,700 miles.
