I bought the car in 2010 and my oil consumption has always been more than I thought it should be. Every time I would bring the car at Audi they would say "oh its normal, just some oil in between and you are fine".

Until one day (shortly after my car was out of warranty), when I brought the car to Audi dealer for an oil change they said to me "your car is leaking a ton of oil and we need to fix so you can't drive the car out of here"...I explained to them that I have always had this problem and they never addressed just kept telling me it is ok. They told me this was going to be a $2000 job as they had to remove the engine in order to replace some valve in the back of the engine and seal it back. Which I did go thru and paid the money.

Shortly after the car had the oil sign back on. I brought it back they topped it off with oil and I went on my way. Soon after that I had oil sign again. I called Audi and they said just add some oil or bring it here for us to add it. I added oil myself a few times until the next oil change was due. I asked them to do a complete check of my car when I went back 09/22/2015 and they came back saying everything is fine, no worries, car is in spectacular change. They topped it off with oil again for me. I told the Audi rep that this time I will have to report this because it getting out of hand. He said your car is fine if for whatever reason the oil sign comes on before 2500 or even 2000 miles to let them know. Well 400 miles later the sign was back on.

I dropped my car off this morning and I feel like I have been getting ripped off especially since I paid $2000 to fix this less than a year ago. Keep in mind I am the only one driving this car, very very careful with maintenance of the car and only highway miles. I drive slow and keep up with everything that needs to be changed or updated. This car has been a nightmare and I am sick and tired of spending more money and adding oil every 400-500 miles. What do I do. This a 2010 Q5 2.0
