The vehicle is needing about 2qts every 2-3 days. Every once in a while I can feel it slip. I just bought this vehicle in October 2021. There are absolutely no leaks. It's a safety hazard because if it loses enough oil when I am driving, the car can and will die in the middle of the road. This vehicle is what I use to haul my 2 year old daughter in. Yes the vehicle can be inspected. The vehicle was bought at cooks car sales. Lewiston, idaho 83501

Extreme oil consumption (burning 2+ quarts in less than 500 miles); cutting off while idling. Yes it is available for inspection upon request. If this is a leak, it could possibly catch on fire while my child is driving to school, or it could cut off while driving causing a bad accident. Yes it has been confirmed by a repair facility. Check/add oil indicator; check engine light; emits black smoke from rear. Issues appeared 2 days after purchasing the car.

I have code PO299 turbocharger/supercharger a underboost condition. I was under warranty in 2016 to have my pistons and rings replaced because the oil consumpion was very high, now I'm burning more oil and I changed the diverter valve I'm still coming up with P0299 code and need to replace my turbo after 60K miles from the piston and rings replacement...I think this all has to be part of the same problem and Audi should repair it for free.

The contact owns a 2012 Audi Q5. The contact stated that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 16V660000 (fuel system). The vehicle was taken to Audi West houston (15865 katy fwy, houston, tx 77094) to be repaired. While repairing the fuel pump flange, the dealer cut the fuel line, which prevented the vehicle from being driven and allowed fuel to leak in the back seat. The dealer did not claim responsibility for the failure. The manufacturer was contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 130,000.

At 55K miles the engine burns oil more than expected. Oil level was below minimum level about 2K miles before the next required oil change. At aroun 63K miles, the engine reaches the minimum level after driving about 3K miles. The dealer says this is normal but previous year Q5's with 2.0T engines have been recalled for similar issues.

Takata recall and more: Audi has not resolved this issue since April 2016 and sees no solution in sight. They are not offering to buy back the vehicles, fix them or provide a loaner as a result of this extremely dangerous issue. I am stuck in a dangerous vehicle with no solution in sight. On top of that, since the purchase of this vehicle in September 2015 we have had all sorts of problems including a loose moonroof that had to be fixed 3 times in a month. 4 recalls and 7 visits to service department in a year and 5 months. Makes no sense for such an expensive vehicle and the service of Audi of America has been exactly as bad as the car.

Takata recall - this recall was started in February of 2016 yet I was never informed by Audi that my vehicle needed the air bag fixed and the Audi website states that a solution is still pending. I also have a second recall related to the fuel pump that began in September of 2016. I need to know if the vehicle can already be fixed for the takata recall and until what date I have to take it to an Audi dealer for repair.

Takata recall. I am afraid to drive this vehicle. Something I am paying a lot of hard earned money for may potentially kill me. I can't sell this vehicle without paying a large amount to cover the difference of what I owe on it. How do I get this problem fixed or sell without owing money?

Drive 2012 Audi Q5 2.0T premium plus. I was driving back home and malfunction indicator light (mil) showed up. The engine is making whistling sound. I took my car to Audi dealership and they informed me that the high pressure fuel pump and some other parts would need replacement. I got a letter from Audi about warranty extension for fuel injector to 120K miles. As per the dealership, this is a different issue. When researched online, this is a very known issue and alot of Audi 2.0T engines have come up with this issue. My car just went out of warranty and is at 54K miles, this is upsetting that such a known issue and I've to pay for this.
