The contact owns a 2007 Audi Q7. While the vehicle was parked, a strong fuel odor was present inside and outside the vehicle. The contact observed fuel spilling onto the ground. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel housing flange fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 16V660000 (fuel system, gasoline). The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
