The contact owns a 2008 Audi Q7. The contact stated that while closing the rear hatch, a knocking sound was heard. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the hatch pull down motor needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 85,300 and the current mileage was 86,364. Updated 5/22/13
