Bought the car used from Rockville Maryland Audi Dealer on June 2018. Shortly after , the battery die, MMI stop working and the AMP burned due to corrosion, they can seem to be able to fix tag light. The cost of repairs $ 3000, but I believe is under the 30 days warranty of used vehicle purchase. Problem source is water is intruding inside the back cargo area traveling from the top sunroof water hose connection via the passenger side where the fuses and AMP is located. This water pools up to 2 inches under the spare tire and creates moist that is compromising the electrical system, airbag, fuse box posing a serious safety concern.
Dealer refused to fix the root of the problem. Installed new battery but it drained again by the faulty AMP , they did not disconnect the power connection as I instructed them to avoid killing the battery, so I had to remove the fuse to it.
DIY - a possible fix is to clean draining nipple under the car and adjust the coupling white plastic connection closer to the sunroof to drain the incoming water properly , but a number of panels have to be taken out to access it. This should be a recall as it is creating safety issues, but AUDI apparently do not care.
