2017 Audi Q7 with 56,000kms. During storage of vehicle in garage after one month I noticed rust on rotors. So I decided to drive vehicle and clean off rust, however discovered that it wouldn't move in drive at first. It seemed the brake pads and rotors were stuck together. Managed to get it free and able to drive vehicle, cleared some rust but apparently according to a shop I took it to, the rust was polished black on the rotor which now causes a pulsing vibration on application of brakes. The shop technician could not remove the black rust. So the choices are, pay the $4000 to $5000 for new brakes and rotors or put up with the vibration. I think the real problem is the metal alloy in the rotor material but I don't think Audi would admit the problem.
