It appears Audi has a known problem and Tech Bulletin on the Center Differential in most Audis with Quattro. After a period of time the Center Differential will growl when making a sharp turn. It may also rattle. The rattle sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side of the vehicle but it is not. It is the center differential. They will not repair it ! They will tell you they can drain the center differential fluid and replace it and the noise will stop for a short period of time but, it will come back. They said there is no danger in an Audi with this issue. Great! An $75,000 vehicle that rattles and groans as you're driving. Also, the Engine had to be replaced at 10,000 miles. In fifty years of purchasing vehicles of all makes and models, I never had to replace an engine! First and Last Audi for me! First Class Junk!
