The car surges on occasion (20% of time) when shifting from 2 to 1 gear. The dealer replaced the Mechatronic unit, but did not change the issue. Now the dealer "cannot reproduce the problem"
I spoke to a knowledgeable car guy that knows Dual Clutch transmissions very well. He thinks there is an issue with the clutch pack. That is a $3000 fix, but Audi would just swap out the entire transmission, which they were not willing to do I guess.
Audi, your satisfaction and reliability numbers suck. Shame on me.
