I've experienced issues when trying to shift gears, most recently when putting the car in reverse from drive, the dashboard started flashing and it lost all power as if it were disengaged or in neutral. I took the car into a dealer as this is a safety issue and was told that there was a recall on this issue for my VIN ( campaign 09V333000), but that it had already been repaired prior to my ownership, which does not seem to be the case.

Clunk and noise from dsg transmission when accelerate from stop in D position or from 2nd to 1st gear for slowing down. I think it is mechatronic issues for those year VW Audi dsgs. It's out of warranty but still can be covered by recall?
