sx6 module failure sx6 module failure

The Audi Etron has so many issues with the major components including the electric motors and the SX6 modules on top of the HV battery. Each of them would cost over $8000 to repair. The electric motor of my Audi Etron fails at 87k miles and luckily it was covered by my extended warranty. Unfortunately, my SX6 module now needs to be replaced at 109k miles. The dealer quoted me over $8000 to repair at 345/hr rate and it is just insane.

There are tons of reports on Reddit and EV forum regarding coolant getting into the electric motor and the sx6 module failure. It is a very common failure for this vehicle and you will be fxxked if you encounter any one of these outside the warranty. Avoid Audi EVs at ALL COST no matter how shiny they appear to be unless you want to repair it for more than the vehicle is worth. Not to mention the constant recalls regarding the HV battery. It is unbelievable that one vehicle can be this unreliable and expensive to fix at the same time. Audi USA and its dealers are doing nothing about it while racking up $$$ for the repairs. Please never consider Audi EV and it is coming from someone who owned 3 Audis over the past 5 years. This brand is a total SCAM.
