The contact owns a 2014 BMW 228I. While driving at approximately 65 mph, a warning message illuminated stating that a failure occurred and to please go to the nearest service center. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 16,500. Updated 05/06/16
