I bought a 2022 BMW 230i xdrive In February of 2022. Within a year paint started chipping and flaking away from the windowsill trim. The dealership acknowledged that this was a paint defect. They reported it to BMW who then refused categorically to accept responsibility and wanted to charge me $1100 to fix the trim. I then went to a body shop to get their opinion. They agreed it was a paint defect and should be covered by warranty. Despite this, and repeated conversations with BMW, they still refuse to make the situation right.
BMW does NOT stand by its products and refuses to make good on obvious quality control issues. This is my fourth BMW and it will be my last.
