Due to the nature of the Idle Control Valve shooting the engine RPM's to 2,000! The recommendation is to either Delete it all together and manually adjust your own throttle or clean it out and then whack it with a screwdriver if it's still persistent, Otherwise this engine is very reliable with no serious issues and can last a long time with proper maintenance.
