My vehicle engine cooling fan caught fire one evening while following behind someone to make sure they made it to a parking lot safely due to their own vehicle having problems requiring them to stay under around 20mph. Once we made it to a parking lot, i exited my vehicle to check on the other person, and realized there was smoke starting to come out from under my hood. My husband waited for me to pull the hood release and then proceeded to lift the hood, only to discover my car was on fire, and it was coming directly from the cooling fan. After almost a minute we were able to put the fire out, and discovered the whole electrical area for the fan was melted and destroyed. There was never any type of warning light or any information at all that would have told me a problem was imminent. Im thankful it wasn;t myself alone or with my kids just driving down the highway because it would have taken over the whole vehicle before i would have known it was having any issues at all. The part is still on the vehicle, which has become inoperable and now any attempts to check the vehicle out have realized that another issues with BMW's is also causing problems with my vehicle. It appears an actual recall was never issued for my actual VIN, rather a collection of years and makes. Any further information or remedy that might get me the ability to actually use my vehicle again would be greatly appreciated. I can also include photos and witness statements if needed, . Thank you for your time.

JMC BMW 4622 Marine Ave Lawndale CA [XXX] September 7 - 9, 2022 auto repair. I suspected my mechanic of over 10 years was tampering with my vehicles telematics vehicle tracking software I was being tracked, stalked and followed. On 9/7/2022 I dropped off my car there was no tracking activity on my phone. I retrieved my vehicle the following day when I arrived I saw 3 other mechanics that I have never saw before an Asian man mechanic with a laptop sitting on top of a 750i BMW Plate: [XXX]. Something did not feel right. The Asian guy looked very familiar he was busy doing something on the laptop. On Sept 9 2022 at 4:44 I called for help a few minutes before closing. I called Manny the lead mechanic regarding the high level of Radiation coming from my vehicle and also something was dragging underneath my car. He said I could stop by. When I arrived after about ten minutes I could see someone sitting in a vehicle I as standing next to. It was one of the mechanics I had never seen before. He was hiding in a white BMW with very dark tinted windows you could barely see him. I walked up to the vehicle that is when I spotted him. My first time seeing him was on September 7, 2022, when I dropped off my car. I pulled out my cell phone, and immediately saw my signal coming from his vehicle. He was bio-hacking me sending my bio metric signal to the vehicles on the street I could feel it in my head and legs. I have photos, video and technical documentation to support my claim. The diagnostics system was compromised using the obd. I hear noise coming from the dashboard the vehicle is being tracked. When I stop remove the key within 2 minutes I hear the noise coming from the dashboard. Within the next few minutes I hear a louder noise coming from the dashboard. The person who is tracking me is trying to locate the vehicle. Few minutes later they show up. The vehicle was linked to spectrum mobile so I am always picking up spectrum wifi wherever I go. Dongles were used to access my diagnostics system. An obd adapter - a dongle that plugs into the port and connects to the phone via bluetooth. Once you pair the smartphone with the adapter and run the app, a 'basic' mode with high-level options, and an 'expert' one that exposes all the low-level settings can apply and config. With spectrum mobile hotspots, you can access spectrum's wifi network using your mobile device. Spectrum mobile have unlimited access to the following hotspots. I see the following 3 hotspots all time wherever I go in my vehicle along with 2 others. * spectrum mobile * spectrumwifi plus * spectrumwifi you can register up to 15 devices per account, but only five of those devices can be connected to a spectrum wifi hotspot at the same time. Please help I have filed a police report with the long beach police department 502(C) dr# 20-49284 officer aceves did# 5995

While coming to a stop or taking a turn the car will randomly shut off at which point I lose total control over the car. At this point I have to do my best to come to a stop safely and avoid any potential accident. The check engine light will come on once the car shuts down, but the car will start right back up afterwards and the check engine light goes away. The car will drive normal, but this happens often and scared as there is no warning sign of when this is going to happen to me; I have been lucky so far not to get into a major accident.

Good morning- this will be my 2nd attempt to send thiis information to you; the first time it gave a message, information not saved. - I have owned 3 BMW in the 3 series and I have noticed a pattern where the oil pan/ gasket leaks. I find this unusual for all 3 vehicles. The car I now have is now leaking. I would like you look into this and consider this matter for recall? it occurs while the vehicle is in motion and standing still. It may eventually lead to engine damage. In addition, oil leaking on our roadways create many hazards to humans and our environment. Thank you for your time. I had a blower motor replaced 2 to 3 years prior to recall at a shop other than BMW.BMW of North America said I would be paid for the part but I needed to bring it to BMW to verify a BMW part was used. I brought it to BMW of bayside and they verified it was a BMW part. I had a copy of my bill from the repair shop with the BMW part and labor cost. Now they say I can not be paid because I need a receipt from an authorized BMW part center. Repair was done 3 years ago and the shop no longer has the receipt. I am writing to you for your assistance in obtaining the refund that I am due for this repair. Thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

There are (3) current recalls for this model, 2008 BMW 328I. Only (1) recall has a 'remedy' available. According to my local BMW dealership, the 'remedies' for the other (2) recalls, both of which could potentially cause a fire even in a non-running parked situation, are 'not yet available'. these recalls are: NHTSA #17V76 and NHTSA #17V683. BMW usa has 'recommended' that the affected vehicles always be 'parked outside'. I do not consider this an acceptable solution to these dangerous and serious recall issues, as I live in a 'marginal' neighborhood prone to auto theft and weather damage. My question is, when/how soon will NHTSA (federal government) force this auto mfr (BMW) to quickly and adequately address and provide permanent mechanical solutions for these (2) recalls. In fact, just recently (4/28/18) a house was destroyed by a fire by one of these BMW model recalls, parked in the garage and not running. BMW said they would contact owners of all affected vehicles when a solution has been found, but 'have no idea when that will be'. not acceptable. These are a serious safety issues that affects one million+ vehicles and the health and safety of millions of american families. Please advise what you intend to do to protect these car owners?
