1st time I noticed of the problem, 3 weeks after taking possession of the car. Didn't take it to the dealer the very 1st, 2nd instances it happened, considering I was at the dealership 2 days prior when I first noticed there might be a problem with either the battery, or an electrical shortage draining the battery. To make a long story short, when I finally took the car in to have the battery checked, the dealership/nor BMW USA wanted to pay for the battery. So, I ended up paying for the labor cost of about $238.00 since it involved reprogramming the computer. I have to tell you I was not pleased to pay any type of money for any repair for a car that was supposedly under warranty.
