problem #1

Dec 162016

330 330XI E90

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

poor cold start, rough idle, poor gas millage

Do not understand why BMW would ever install a sensor under the valve engine cover where it is subjected to hot oil, gasses and heat. To add insult to injury the bad design screws the consumer as the sensor is over 500.$ !!!! . Ok, BMW you have a poor design "AND" we are going to screw you on the repair.

There is no excuse for screwing the consumer on this sensor replacement. 2600.$ Canadian Dollars which included the servo motor (Valvetronic motor) labor taxes in.
