Reporting this as one issue because it seems to be the same recurring issue. I had multiple coolant leaks at different points through the life of this car so far between 2019 and 2024. A few years back on two separate occasions the car would not start, needed to be towed because of coolant leaks. In one case it needed a new hose. In the second case, needed a water pump replacement. These were covered under standard warranty.

More recently, I had multiple coolant leaks at once. This time the car was starting but warned me that the coolant was low. Stopped at the dealership and it topped off. A few days later, coolant was again low. Dropped it off at BMW service center and they found leaks and replaced the water pump for the second time along with a hose. This was with expired standard warranty and ended up being a ~$3500 job (could likely be cheaper at a third party shop, but it's the BMW dealership). Drove off feeling good about life, but a few days later, engine coolant was low again. Brought the car back and they suspected the oil filter housing was the culprit (though it didn't show up in their diagnostics). $4500 job to replace the oil filter housing. In total, the recent coolant leak issues at around 70K miles was an $8K job with multiple visits and the car was in the service center for more than a week. "You should be good for a while" ... expecting to have another coolant issue or dead engine within the next 30-40K miles ;)
