My son purchased a 2013 BMW for $25,000 with an N63 motor which has completely gone out. I have read one horror story after another including the class action law suit filed against BMW which closed in October of 2018, (BMW did not recall these engines, we and many others were not made aware of these terrible engines), to receive compensation. My son was told the car will need a new engine plus installation costing $15,000. My son is only 23 years old, he cannot afford another $15,000, so now he is left with making payments for a useless vehicle.
This should not be ignored, I have read one case after another of people who cannot afford such an expensive problem. BMW SHOULD RECALL these cars with N63 motors! This class action lawsuit mentioned above only helped a few within a short time frame, if my son and many others had known about it they would not have to deal with such a mess.

This relates to class action suits against BMW about oil consumption on N63 engines, at least one of which was won by plaintiffs ("Bang, et al") in '19. My car qualifies (per BMW) but they won't do anything, say "talk to Lawyers but they're unreachable. A second suit extends coverage, but I can;'t find a way to claim/contact those people either. Attys site is gone, phone disconnected. Your site shows a "preliminary agreement" on the 2nd suit, but no status or action to take.
Any idea what to do? I'm at a qt/1000 miles & can't afford a repair
Thanks for this site & any help
