The drive shaft flex joint is a common issue, and it will make a jolt going from first to second gear or second to first. If there isn't a jolt from second to first you might just need a new transmission and not just a guibo joint replacement. The joint can be purchased for around $80-$100. Problem replacing it is that you have to remove the exhaust system under the car to get the the drive shaft, and those bolts can be very rusted from over the year, and quite impossible to get off, which makes the whole repair a headache. I've posted a few of these complaint, and really just don't buy this car. Very unreliable.
