There were no events leading up to the failure. The transmission on my 1999 BMW 750il screamed, & roared and lurched into foward and than nothing. No forward or reverse. At this time nothing has been done to correct the failure. From all the internet sites I have researched including NHTSA it appears that this vehicle should be one that has a faulty transmission and yet BMW and the dealer say no and deny any liability. Your help in this matter will be most appreciated. The NHTSA recall id # is 99V005000. Thanks.
