The contact owns a 2007 BMW 750li. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph, the brake pedal was applied and the brakes failed to respond. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign id number: 10V446000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The contact stated that the vacuum lines were replaced but waiting on the manufacturer's approval for the brake booster and master cylinder repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000. Updated 12/2/14 the consumer stated the vehicle was partially repaired under recall in 2010. The consumer believed the manufacturer should complete the repair.
