The dealer was not able to fix it. It's since gone out of warranty. That may have been what they were waiting for. They had it in a couple of times, did nothing to fix it.
The problem is it only happens on occasion. I'll use the navigation one time and it works okay, and the next time I'm in the car, it won't work. I ask for directions to a restaurant, hardware store, etc. - and all you get back is nothing found. Sometimes when it does work it'll bring up places 1,000 miles away. Seems particularly fond of Australia for some reason. Love it, type in kangaroo, get a restaurant in Sydney. Well, they wore me down and it's gone out of warranty anyway. At least if I get desperate I can use my phone. It is sure a lot of money to pay to have these kind of issues and poor service.
