this suv intermittently starts with a very rough idle, the check engine comes on until the idle smooths out, after which seems to drive ok, the dynamic stability control light is now on steady , had it checked the mechanic says the computer reports a defective steering angle sensor ,and a misfiring #2 & #7 cylinders, replaced th ignition coils on those cylinders a slight improvement but still rough ,especially in cold weather, now suspect the fuel injectors, or possibly a timing problem, because on occasion it starts smooth, i also notice there's no high rev. you normally get with most engines when cold initially , just a rough low idle. i intend to replace th steering sensor, however am not sure thats the problem alone, been told it could be a wheel sensor also, so many unreliable sensors and self diagnostics don't always indicate the problem.
