X5 Premium 3.0L

My beautiful 2013 BMW X5, without any lights or warning, with careful and regular maintenance, stalled at a traffic light on Memorial Day this year (2023). Seized motor. 96K miles. I do not intend to replace the motor (3.0L) unless BMW does it gratis, which I'm pretty sure they will use the warranty to hide behind. I own 2 BMW motorcycles and the girl friend owns a Mini Cooper, but right now, I'm not too happy with them. (BMW, not the girl friend). Loyalty?

I am beyond angry. I am beyond sad. I'm spitting fire. Best car I ever owned and I've had a few. Of course now it sits in the driveway as a constant reminder. I bought a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. Simple, easy to work on. Great vehicle and everything works fine.

BMW, I've read that other 3.0L motors have experienced the same problem. Do a recall and retain some loyalty for the brand. Put a new motor in my X5 and I'll be appreciative.

Update from Aug 1, 2023: Hey...BMW Corporate responded..."Vehicle is out of warranty, but we're real concerned about the quality of the automobiles we sell...Yadda Yadda Yadda.
