This car belongs to an elderly friend of my husband's. She hardly drives this car, and she hardly ever lets the windows down. Man this is a mess, they should have a warranty or recall on something like this. The window stopped working and fell down, wouldn't work anymore. This was the driver's side window that eventually had to get fixed because it was raining inside of her car. Next. The passenger left back window did the same thing. My husband just taped that window up for her since she doesn't really have to use that one. That happened approximately 2 weeks later. Now, the back right side passenger window is doing it, and today is 08/24/12. This window will be eventually taped up too. This is awful! Buick should be held accountable for this kind of stuff. I don't think her next car she is buying will be a Buick.

This has happened 3 times and one that i fixed the switch had now gone out on it. To me this should be a recall problem. We should not have to pay for 3 and probably 4 windows that are defective. They are now cheap to have fixed........

These are the exact sort of stupid problems that cause people to quit buying domestic cars. windows have been on cars since the 1920's and they were successfully designed even 95 years ago. Go back to hand crank windows if you cannnot get this design right! I would much rather have smooth operation by hand rather than the window falling into the doorskin.
