problem #1

Century Custom Limited 3.1L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 200,000 miles

At the fuse panel located at the right side of dash passenger door, there are three 10amp fuses at bottom of fuse block, they are ignition; body module; crank sensor. The ignition fuse and the crank signal fuse are critical for reliable no issue starts every time. A bad fuse at ignition will set off the security light and a no crank no start situation. A bad fuse will look discolored and possible rust on its terminals but not be blown.( this is called surface resistance) and is a very deceptive electrical problem.
