This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Buick dealer.
At 30,349 miles, a luxury SUV should not have this problem. It is hard to have confidence in a vehicle that has so many problems. It is a great inconvenience scheduling repairs, bringing in SUV, waiting for repairs, and returning to get SUV.

I cannot believe there is no recall on a PSS seat sensor that disables the air bag in a vehicle.
The light clearly indicates that the airbag is now off and the dealer wants to charge me > $1,000 to fix it.

Airbag light came on at 66355 miles. Dealer had to replace front seat airbag connectors. Covered under warranty.

Took vehicle in for recall/warranty work. The passenger airbag sensor keeps coming on every time the car is started. Certified GM/Buick service department says that the airbags will not deploy in a crash, yet it is not considered a recall by GM/Buick. They want us to pay $1000 to fix the issue, while treating us like we are clueless, and being very rude for asking why this isn't covered under a recall. They say the standard airbag recall is not considered the same, as this "issue" is a wiring issue that is "standard wear and tear on a vehicle". So, if the vehicle is in a crash, and the airbags do not go off, GM/Buick better hope I don't walk away, because if I do, I will do so with a bag full of their money!!! Ridiculous!!
