Enclave CXL

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

Don't ever buy a GM product!!!!! Our Buick Enclave has had so many ongoing problems and the dealership (Ray Skillman) has not been able to get them fixed. Now that our warranty ran out, they all of a sudden seemed to find a fix that would cost thousands of dollars. GM won't help even though we have been reporting the same transmission, steering etc problems for a very long time.

Enclave CXL V6

  • CVT transmission
  • 14,425 miles

Whenever the vehicle is on a hill even in the drive mode, the car rolls back. Not only a few inches, but a continued backward motion with no end in sight. At about a half block to a block while rolling back, the vehicle will stall and shut off. I have taken the matter up with Buick and was told that there was no error transmission code for the issue.

I had taken the vehicle twice to Buick and was met with the same result... No error code.

When I brought the vehicle for the second time, I was told that the rollback test was performed at the dealership and the vehicle indeed did rollback. However, I was told that this was "normal" for the vehicle to do this.

I was not happy to hear this and requested to take my complaint to the corporate level. I then contacted corporate Buick and was told the same thing... that it was a normal operation of the transmission. I am afraid that I will be on a hill and have a rear end collision with someone who is close behind me.
