Since about Jan. 13' my Enclave is not registering the gas levels. Presents different problems, So much so, that I know my tank is empty, but it won't fill up. No more gas will pump in. Other times, I'll fill up and gas gauge will register 2/3 tank as I drive it might go up, when I turn off and start again it might be filled or it could be empty. You never know. It was ok after awhile cause then I just relied on my range of miles left on my tank. Not anymore, now my range will be at say 81 and as I drive it will increase, even when I know I am really low on gas.
When it was working, my fuel light would come on without fail at 44 miles to go. Awesome that I could deal with to help me with this major defect. I've had it in the shop to check out, but they can't tell. They say when it happens bring it by and leave it running. Oh okay well that is not convenient in the least bit. Especially since the last time I was out of state with my children's cross-country team with no gas around and my formerly trusted range not reading accurately. It really sucks that Buick does not recognize it is a GM problem. My friend told me she had a recall for her gas gauge for her Traverse and she wasn't even having this problem. I called Buick and they said no we don't have any recalls - REALLY?!
So glad I have to pay my huge car payment every month. The largest I've ever had and the worse car I ever had. Guess what? Sorry to say that I never am buying an American car again! Sorry I strayed from Toyota, Honda and Subaru. My husband had the best intentions to buy our family a "luxury" car with room for the 5 of us and our dogs too. I am hoping to get a pick up truck. I am done with this sh*t!
