The repair shop showed me the fuse/relay box full of water which apparently shorted everything in it. They are not sure how the water got into it and mentioned possible leak from windshield or overflow from a/c (?) tray. You would think that smart design engineers would have realized the importance of this box and made sure that it would be properly protected from water or other debris! So, can someone tell me what should be done to prevent this from happening again? The windshield shop said that in order to add sealer at the bottom corner on the passenger side they have to replace the windshield (which is in perfect condition) and we don't know how water can come up from the condensate drip pan. Any suggestions?
